Constraints regarding the usage of any flutter package ?

Hi ! Just wanted to know if there are any constraints related to any flutter packages that we can use or not. I was planning to use some packages like Bonfire (open source and available on the flutter package repository that is built upon Flame) along with Flame. Am I allowed to use it or am I strictly supposed to use some certain flutter packages
