Let say for example a team won, who will receive the prize from the members?
Let say a team won, who will receive the prize? Since this is an online competition with high possibility that members are from different countries, what are the assurance each member can get the prize evenly?

Hi Garlen,
Per the rules, " Prizes will be payable to the Entrant, if an individual; to the Entrant’s Representative, if a Team. It will be the responsibility of the winning Entrant’s Representative to allocate the Prize among their Team’s participating members, as the Representative deems appropriate. A monetary Prize will be mailed to the winning Entrant’s address (if an individual) or the Representative’s address (if a Team), or sent electronically to the Entrant or Entrant Representative’s bank account, only after receipt of the completed winner affidavit and other required forms (collectively the “Required Forms”), if applicable. Failure to provide correct information on the Required Forms, or other correct information required for the delivery of a Prize, may result in delayed Prize delivery, disqualification or the Entrant, or forfeiture of a Prize. Prizes will be delivered within 60 days of the Sponsor or Devpost’s receipt of the completed Required Forms."
When picking a team and designating who is going to be the representative, please make sure to discuss potential prize money splits. In my experience, in our experience, team disputes about distributing the prize rarely happen, but if you have further questions we would be happy to discuss!

Hi @Dani Ratner , I have the same question but an additional concern. If you have a large team but some members decided to not receive the prize, will the prize be splitted among members who want to receive the prize?

Hi Vanessa,
It will be up to your team to decide how the money is split. Make sure you have these discussions prior to the winner announcement to avoid any potential conflict. Good luck!
